ICC Writing Clinic
Inter Cultural Center at CMU (in Warner Hall) offers a variety of services for non-native speakers (writing/ speaking). Their url is

The ICC Writing Clinic is a one-on-one, educational support service designed to help non-native speakers of English improve the writing skills they need to succeed in their academic work.
The Writing Clinic helps students with a variety of writing issues.
For example, they help students:
* improve basic skills such as constructing sentences and linking
paragraphs
* write abstracts, research papers, and other academic papers
* develop an idea for a writing assignment
* understand cultural differences and expectations which can interfere with a non-native speaker's ability to write clearly
for a native English speaking audience
