- COS Ph.D. student Patrick Gage Kelley was elected as the 2008 President of the Graduate Student Assembly. The Graduate Student Assembly is the student governmental body representing all of Carnegie Mellon's 4500 graduate students, which works to improve upon the academic support and collegial activities for graduate students.
